Early Picker - Website Review and Haul

Hey Everyone!

Welcome back to another Blog Post!

I have always been very Curious and Interested in Foreign Makeup.

But never got an opportunity to purchase it because of Shipping and Trust Issues with Websites.

Even though these products are available on Websites like Ebay etc, I was never confident enough to invest in it.

Then I came across Korean Beauty or K-Beauty, which is a different world in itself.

Korean Skincare is very well known for its effectiveness and Korean makeup is famous for its Cute and Adorable Packaging.

Then I stumbled across a Website, via which I was easily able to Purchase Korean Beauty products from Leading brands.

My Experience with Early Picker

I decided to order some Makeup from brands like Aprilskin, 3CE, Peripera Peri, Labiotte, Tony Moly etc

As Koreans have lighter skin tones compared to Indians, I stayed away from Face Makeup like Foundation, Concealers etc because I did not want to Order a Wrong shade.

Also, I'm a Lipstick Junkie, so I was sold looking at the Collection of Lip products available on the Website.

The Shipping took about to 7 to 10 days and the products arrived safely.

The products were well secured and were in best Condition.

I'm very happy with the Quality of the products, it was worth the money.

I was scared about Customs but somehow managed to escape from it!

What I like about Early Picker

I really like the fact that the Products are at discounted products which I have never seen on any other Website.

A lipstick at Regular price 9$ will be at 6$ on Early Picker

I also like the fact that there are very detailed product details for some products, like swatches etc

It makes our research very simple and helps a lot in finalising the product and shade.

I was Impressed with the Customer Service of Early Picker!

I had ordered for one packet of Aprilskin Turn-up Color Treatment, I was emailed and informed that if I needed to colour my full hair, just one packet would not be enough at all.

I was pleasantly surprised, This makes it clear that Early Picker strives for Customer Satisfaction!

Also, for every order decent amount of Samples are Sent.

I received at least 4 to 5 Products as Samples, with Face Masks, Lipsticks etc

What I expect from the Website

I would expect the website to bring in more Korean Brands.

Also, I observed that certain category had very less products listed under them, I would love it if the website works on it.

Overall I had an Awesome experience shopping from Early Picker and I'm coming back for more!

Hey guys! Welcome back!

Today I will be writing about, how I approached Himalaya Herbals company to send me some beauty samples.

The products that I received are:

Purifying Neem Scrub

So lets get right into it!

I reached out via E-mail, my email had the following points:

Who am I?
What am I to you?
Why am I writing to you?

This was basically the format of my email.

My Email was basically answering the above questions with simple English sentences.

In brief the answers to the above questions will be:

Who am I? ----> Name
What am I to you?----> Your Customer
Why am I writing to you? ----> Request for samples

Tips to write such Email:

Be polite
Try to keep it crisp, simple,Understandable.
Do mention your Name, so that they will know how to address you
End it politely as well.
Remember, you may or may not get a response.

Hi,

I'am Your-name, a loyal customer of Himalaya Herbals since few years.

I'am really impressed with your products, the quality and how genuinely good your products are.

I have been using your Body lotions for a while now and can say that they definitely work, better than any other products I have ever tried.

I have been eager to try out some of your other skin care products and your lip care range for a while now, so I wanted to know if you could send me some samples to try them out.

Thank you for reading and let me know what you decide.

This is what I wrote,there is no rule as to how to approach a company.

What I wrote just worked out for me and also because Himalaya herbals were kind enough to send me samples.

Your email can be shorter, simpler, anything actually.

Hello readers!! Welcome back!

Samples in India? Beauty samples?.....Yup!

This post is all about how one tiny hesitant email got me decent amount of beauty related samples from our beloved herbal brand HIMALAYA HERBALS!

How I received Free Samples from HIMALAYA HERBALS!!!

So yeah, I love free stuff, I mean who doesn't? That too beauty samples?....Hell yeah!!

Distributing samples to gain popularity and for promotional reasons is very common in the west, but in India? not so much. Or that's what I thought. Boy was I wrong.

I tried all the available methods, kept track of websites where sample adds get posted, Newsletters etc

But all this can be very exhausting you know....and also

takes time.

I love HIMALAYA HERBALS...like loads and loads and loads. I have been using their products from a long time. They provide great quality products at reasonable prices. They are a herbal brand, which is great!!!

So how it happened....

One day, as I was lounging around, hogging food...I decided why not try reaching out to them personally.

So I wrote an email talking about how I love their products and asked them to send me some samples, clicked send and completely forgot about it. I mean, such a big company dealing with such a huge client base, responding to a weak sample request email? Highly Unlikely!

But, I was wrong. Within a day I got a response saying they appreciate my feedback and asked me to give my mail address so that they can send some samples!!!!!!

I was SO SHOCKED!!!

After a day of giving my Mail information, came a bunch of stuff from Himalaya herbals!....It was so quick and decent number of products too!

Mind you, I asked for samples as a customer....Not even as a blogger. They could have easily ignored my request, but they didn't and that's what makes customers happy and be loyal to the brand. So this is how I received some awesome samples.
